We’ll focus on updating the software based on user feedback.
Got an idea you’d like to see in PixelScout? Please tell us your feature suggestion here!
A function to exclude domains from the search would be good. I’ve run it a few times and got lots of domains that are directory or job sites and classified sites. eg. Groupon, Gumtree, Seek, Jora. I had one search return 22 sites but 18 of the were these sites. So if Pixel scout could weed these out of the search it would be great.
Thanks
I would love and export data. I already use a very power full email tool for prospecting which as feature like Split testing the subject and the body to discover what covert the best + Follow up, knowing if the prospect opened your email or not, conversion and many others features. The software is prospect Rocket.
So I would suggest you to not spend to much time and money developing your email feature and instead adding an export data feature or adding zapier which can then export the data to the tool we want for the followup.
This feature has been added! Thank you for your suggestion!
The export feature has been added, thank you for your suggestion! We’ll continue to look at a Zapier integration as well.
2 Suggestions:
1. Have a way to track who we’ve sent reports to in the search results. Like a little check box on each result we can mark as report created and report sent.
2. Integrate H1, H2 & Metadata results into the data extracted. This would be incredibly powerful for those wanting to also pursue SEO. An amazing 1-2 power punch!
Thanks!
Include Facebook page link column in export table
It would be great to have a HOT PROSPECT feature. We would have HOT and SUPER HOT. Like a one fire icon or 2 fire icon. The hot would be those who opened our email and the super hot will be the one who click on the link and looked the report but full the form then. With the date and the time the email has been open and the link click.
So we can call them saying Hi, I sent you an email about … I would like to know if you got it and had time to look at it. If so do you have questions ?
It will be a good way to know the right time to call our prospect.
Thank you!!
Hey Eric, we already have plans to give email stats on who opened and clicked on each email, but I really like your idea of calling them hot prospects with fire icons! Thanks for the suggestion!
Hey Jonathan, I see where you are going with suggestion #1. We’ll definitely integrate that into results 🙂
add a counter to the reports so we know how many we generated
Can we have the option to disable the “select language” on the report landing page? All of my clients are in the US and I’d rather not have this shown at all.
Also, how about using a custom url? I’d love to be able to have my own domain name shown.
Cool. What about #2? 😀
I just got bought a Review Management tool to help business with bad or no review to get more good review. So it will be great to get the number of reviews, the rate and the date of the last review.
Then we can contact people with bad or no reviews to offer this low cost service and then upgrade to more services.
I forgot to say that you could get business reviews from Google and Facebook.
Ability to add more custom templates. I added four and when I refreshed the site, it delete my two older templates. Looks like it only allows the two pre-built templates, plus two you create. Thanks!
It looks like you only get the option to “Create a Report” if there is no FB pixel detected. But what if there is a FB pixel but no SEO elements and you would like to “Create a Report” to solicit SEO services? That would be nice! Thanks.
Wondering if it would be possible and a good idea to be able to use not only email but also FB Messenger for cold outreach?
I’ve noticed in the returned results from searches that a lot of times a FB business page is returned which makes me think it could be possible.
As a lot of you would know, Messenger has vastly superior open and click through rates compared to email so could be a huge improvement on deliverability.
One feature I believe would help a lot is for users to have the ability to discard or keep website results. When I’ve checked results in Pixel Scout to manually verify whether they have a pixel on their site, I’ve come across some who do, even while Pixel Scout tells me they don’t. So I’d really like to discard/remove/erase those sites from the search results or mark them in one way or another so that it’s easier for me to keep tabs.
The ability to save or download a report without sending an email would be very helpful. That way, for those businesses that you can’t find an email address for, you can contact them through their contact or FB page and still have the ability to send them their report. 🙂
Can we have the ability to edit the name of our Custom Templates? It appears that the name defaults to the Email Subject Line. I am hitting several niches at once and the subject lines do not include the industry name.
Thanks
Can we have the option change the redirect from report to another url instead of going to the optin form and provide the option for people to use the back button instead of being trapped on the optin page.
Zapier integration would ROCK!!!!!!!!!!
You could also build a funnel using a chatbot and give a ‘live demo’ of part of the automated funnel you could build for that prospect (soon to be client)
.
This already exists. In REPORTS on the bottom left column, you’ll see Redirect URL and Form Redirect URL. Those are the settings you are looking for.
Like this one!
Agreed!
I want the ability to delete a single result from a group of potential clients. I am referring to each square with a red X for lacking a FB pixel. I am getting results back for website that should not have been checked. For example I did a search for gym + city and got back a reult for priceline (the travel site). I notice there is a yellow flag in the upper right corner, but I don’t care about future results.
I’m definitely with you on this.
Everyone is focusing on people WITHOUT a Pixel.
I would like to be able to find all the people that Have a Pixel but not actively running ads.
Having PixelScout do its thing but ID Sites that DO HAVE a pixel and incorporate something like Facebook Pixel Helper.
With an ending result of PixelScout kicking out leads that have the pixel, but no ads [these are people that obviously saw the value at one time but dropped the ball]
I have alternate methods of scraping the internet for business leads. Would you consider allowing for manual importing of client information… with the option to bring them into the software and send a report from the link dropdown?
Hi,
I would like to be able to add a general video or personal video at the top of the report.
A general would be a video of me explaining the report in general. What is SSL, what is the facebook pixel … why it’s important to have it …
And a personal one will be a video I created for a specific client. One that I would have take time to create a video of me going on their website and their competitor website and showing that their competitor are in google business, has facebook ads, has SSL …
Or if it’s too complicated maybe just be able to add a general video at the top and then if I see that the prospect is showing and interest by opening my email and clicking the link to read the report I could then create a personal video and send it by email.
But it will be great maybe to be able to add multiple video and select the one we want for the report. Like we can select what we want to show in the report. This way I could create a general video if I selected all features for the report but also more specific one if I do not add all features. Let say in the report I select only to show up the SSL and the facebook pixel. So instead to add a video explaining everything I could select only my short SSL video and Facebook pixel video which will explain each feature and why it’s important to have them.
I’d like to see the report have a simplified explainer video visually explaining FB pixels/Retargeting ads to clueless business owners. Or at the very least, make the report page fully editable so I can just add one myself.
Hey,
I am in the german speaking area and would like to (even manually) be able to translate the report into German. The automatic google translation is really bad and not good enought to be sent out to prospects.
Is that possible?
Have the ability to change the info on the main text of the report template
the option to add video on the report to customise your service
As some have already suggested, the possibility of translating reports and emails into own language. That is urgent.
To be able to close any deals, I need the recipient to understand what I´m offering. The report itself is translated by Google. That’s not a suitable solution, as it is grammaticly horrible. And the report email must be readable to the customer.
I can’t expect any customers at all, without a understandable language.
Fully Mobile Optimized reports.
Emails are now opened more on mobile than desktop (according to eMailmonday statistics).
I would like to see if a local business’s website 1. is mobile-friendly? 2. Has a video? 3. is html or a WordPress site? 4. where it’s currently ranked on google? For additional marketing opportunities.
Another big one is to be able to have the choice to present each part of the report as a short video link, or as a regular html page link as it currently exists.
Additionally, an editable place/option on the report for us to put the fixed price or monthly price we want to charge to fix each issue pixelscout finds. This would give customers a good idea of how much it will cost them to fix each issue. This is a question every client wants to know.
Finally, I would like the option of placing intelligent chat-bot avatars on each section of the report to explain the findings, answer basic questions about the findings, and to capture names and email addresses.
Thanks!
a very good idea!
I feel the same… my clients are Israelis and I need to change so many things on the report manually cuz the google translate is very crappy in Hebrew… like the button text…
if I write in Hebrew at the description it doesn’t appear as I saved it in Hebrew at the email 🙁
I would like to choose/customize the report color
A function to save Report Templates after edit a report
Yasssss:
if the website is HTML or a WordPress site?
where it’s currently ranked on google? For additional marketing opportunities.
so agree…
A function that allows you to enter a URL instead of a Keyword into the Search Box of the Pixel Scout dashboard. This should enable you to check up on a known business you’re targeting.
You can do this with the report editor now! Click on PREVIEW REPORT, then in TOP LEFT you’ll see the 4 bars (hamburgers) and you can now edit your reports and include a video!
That already exists…use the PIXEL CHECKER feature on your left menu. No credits necessary here.
Already exists. When you are editing a report, look to the lower left section called TEMPLATES. Hit the SAVE button to save the current report you are working on as a new template.
This is coming, along with many more report editing features!
Click on EDIT for any report, on the top LEFT you will see 4 small horizontal lines. Click those to edit the main text of the report template. You can include images, video and links there.
We will be updating the report editing functions which will allow you to re-write EVERY section of the report to however you see fit. It’s coming!
Click on EDIT for any report, on the top LEFT you will see 4 small horizontal lines. Click those to edit the main text of the report template. You can include images, video and links there.
We are looking into the ability to pull in the ads they are running that are showing on their facebook page.
You can get the URL to any report by clicking on the MAGNIFYING GLASS in each of your reports. That URL can be sent to clients manually instead of using the software.
These are now added in PRO upgrades.
Click on EDIT for any report, on the top LEFT you will see 4 small horizontal lines. The first option allows you to HIDE the language section on your report.
Some other things which could be checked on website’s to encourage them to become customers:
1) Check that Google Analytics is installed
2) Check EU Cookie notification is installed (for EU members). This is the law and customers may not even know about it.
3) Check Privacy Page is installed & Terms & Conditions page. – GDPR compliance.
4) Check if Google Recaptcha is installed to reduce spam
5) Check the site is mobile friendly
I’m generating a report for all of the prospects that the software pulled an email address for. In the first instance, I’m going to send off these emails, then I’d like to go back to the ones without emails listed to go to their contact form or whatever – can you implement some sort of filter for the past searches? Perhaps one could filter out prospects for which reports have been generated, or emails have been sent, or prospects that have an email, a contact form, facebook page etc?
Great tool!
You know, I realise now that this exists. Bad Joe! Sorry!
Hi Herc, I also use Prospect Rocket and agree with Eric.
What would be awesome is to have an ability in the export to export the report link as well. This way we could fully automatize our funnels.
Ability to save tracking codes on templates
Would be great to have an ability to create a follow up sequence or multiple emails. So if they open/don’t open, etc, you can follow up. or to be able to integrate with our CRM to be able to do our own follow up/prospecting
Quick button to test emails.
Right now I’m having to remove their emails, add my own, save the report, send it to myself and re-add the client’s emails.
Unless I’m missing something here, I really wish we could do a test email quickly.
Cheers!
~ Phil
When exporting, have the lists under ‘Your Searches’ UNCHECKED by default. Typically, you will only export a list once. If you have dozens and dozens of lists, it will be a hassle to uncheck the lists you don’t want. Alternatively, add a ‘check all’ and ‘uncheck all’ button. So that they can all be checked or unchecked with 1 click.
The option to search Google maps/my business. Currently searching organic if you search 10 results because many spots may be directory sites , yelp, etc you may only get a few actual business. Searching Maps/my business when we want 10 results we would actually get 10 businesses. Plus you know if any business is in the 3 pact they are getting traffic that could be retargeted.
The ability to upload a csv file of business domains to search/analyze.
That would be awesome
Can you guys put in an “email schedule” feature? So I can set up all my PS emails the night before and have them go out in the morning while I’m at work, or for them to go out at any time I please?? I would like to have them sent to the potential client while they’re in their office. This would be great to schedule them before.
would it be possible to compose emails without sending the report with them, this would be ideal to track clients you are cold calling for the first time before sending the 2nd email with the website report
Test email. I am building an email to send but would like to test to be sure link and info are installed with email. Am I missing the test feature?
Comment scroll for suggestions is locked. I cannot scroll this page. it allows for entry and posting to the comment at the bottom of the page but I cannot see or view other comments after hitting the up arrow.
would be great to be able to save the Pixel and tracking codes in the template, so we don’t have to add it over and over.
Add in a way to see who opens the emails in the reports section. So where it shows report created and sent, would be amazing for it to show open, so we can continue to market to people…
Hello, hope all is well. Just wondering if an option to delete some of the information under the tracking section would be possible. Thanks!!!
My emails send as the business name in settings (Escalate Social) however, I think I would get more opens if it was coming from my actual name. I have been able to work around this by setting my business name as my actual name, and set my first name as Escalate and Last Name as Social. It would be nice to be able to choose the name that shows up on our sent emails somewhere.
The power of finding businesses that DO HAVE a pixel but no ads, is being able to pick up a client that already has retargeting data. I just picked up two clients that had pixels installed from a previous agency that failed miserably. I was able to go in and be an instant hero with instant retargeting results.
Search results for websites you have already sent an email/report to, that come up in another search to be blacked out. To avoid resending the same or similar email.
Ability to search reports
Would be huge! Looking forward to that one if it can be realized.
Zapier integration would be great.
I did not go though all comments added so apologies in advance if this has already been mentioned. I was going through webinar 1 where Herc mentioned the schema set up training with a free tool. I would be very much interested in that training, certainly where it concerns the implementations for schema away from the standard rating etc. implementation. Would be great to see training with a free or paid solution for schema set up that includes the not so standard implementations.
Where can I access the export feature? Thanks
I have my own SMTP server but even having to select one every report is annoying as hell! I also have a gmail account I want to use as well. Can you provide the ability to set any of the SMTP servers to be your DEFAULT so we don’t have to select it each time? Thanx
Hi. I love the new tracking feature – thank you. But if we could have the ability to delete any as well would be fabulous. I have quite a few in there now from tests that I sent, and would like to get rid of them as they skew the graphs at the top. Also would prefer to clean it up with those I no longer required. Thanks for your consideration and consistently updating to improve 🙂
Yes, I’ve had a few, but usually they’re not running ads, so I still target them and just change the email. I’m also using a spreadsheet to try and track everything at the moment, so the more we can track everything within Pixelscout the better for my muddled brain 😉
You can send emails without report attached
i have noticed when initiating search results quite often we get a repeat of the same websites on other searches in the same niche. Is there a way to stop this so we have unique searches?
Schedule emails in local times.
Ability to scan a keyword search again that takes off where the old search finished (ie. Already did a 50 result search for [city – niche]) but it didn’t come back with many results.
Hi guys, searches usually feature a lot of price comparison sites or “find a ……… near you” type of sites on the first 1 or 2 pages. A lot of these sites are well known. Could they not be “ignored” by pixelscout, when searching, as they just waste credits?
REPORTS SECTION : Possibility to Export, filter, sort or even archive would be usefull to follow-up the prospecting workflow.
DONE
Add unsubscribe footer templates. Thanks
Add a check mark or X if website was built using WordPress.
A Time Stamp on “Saved Reports”.
I just use “Built With” (a Chrome plugin) for that.
To see if people running adwords have a pixel on their site.
Can you change the format of the exported data? I think that if you placed the “Search Keyword”, Search Domain” and “Date” fields as another column in each of the found records, the entire spreadsheet would be easier to manipulate.
Hi, When we find a site that reports as not having a pixel, yet it actually does when we check it, or we discover they do but are not running ads, it would be great to still be able to send a report but change the top header to one that says something like Uh Oh You’re Not Using Retargeting or You have a Pixel, but you’re not using it. I realise we can change the header to one of the others, but I don’t want to make that the focus. Thanks.
Yes! Trying to set this up manually, but so time consuming and haven’t nailed it yet. Would be awesome to have this feature.
Would be nice if we could save tracking scripts in a universal setting for report and email, rather than having to manually paste code into each new report.
Thanks
Ability to split test subject line and open rate percentages.
Adding in Facebook Page and Phone Number on the export list
Create a shortcode for the report code #. That way, you can bulk send and it would send the report to everyone. That would also mean, it would be great to have an easier way send an email to everyone. maybe a BCC function?
That would be awesome. I’ve have manually looked at a few, and several have the pixel but no ads. But having to manually hunt down the current ads is a pain.
While it is true that Messenger has superior opening rates to email in general, I am finding that by just using the templates provided with PixelScout that I am getting a very high email open rate, 77.3% at the moment. Being able to do the bot certainly would have some advantages, but if the business owner is busy and isn’t checking FB, then it kind of negates the value. Just a thought.
The ability to either (1) not show results from previous searches for the same term, or (2) ability to restart the search from “x” pages in would be nice. Example: I searched psychotherapy in reno area with 50 results selected. Went through, generated reports, etc. Based on a post I saw here earlier I got the idea that maybe the system was smart enough to “know” what I had found and would pick up on it where I left off. No such luck.
I did a test search of 10 results only, and got 6 results back, one with a pixel that I had already seen, 2 directory sites that I had already seen, and 1 university which I had already seen. In addition, it also displayed two psychotherapists that not only had I seen previously — but I generated reports for (but it didn’t show that I had previously generated reports for them).
If I know that I searched the first 50 pages, if I had an option to select starting at 60 forward, that would let me search more pages. I hope this is helpful.
Ok, I”m a few days in and have 81 reports. Which means if I keep going at this pace, hundreds of reports (or even more) aren’t out of the question. Which brings up the next challenge … how do I find a report that I sent, aside from queuing up each page and doing search?? Having a search feature for reports would really be useful.
The irony of this is that this was part of what PixelScout was created for — to remove the need to maintain spreadsheets to track things.
Ability to edit the header on reports.
For some reason, I can’t scroll down to see other feature suggestions, so I don’t know if this one has already been requested. But in the “Bulk Reports” feature, I’d like to have the option to have the button & forms re-direct to a URL. This option is available when preparing a single Report, but for some reason is not included in the Bulk Reports feature.
The ability to skip the first x pages of the Google search results would be nice, the businesses on the first page are going to not need Facebook marketing services as much as the second or third page.
Scheduling has been added.
In the report section when sending the emails a refresh occurs when the email is sent. That refresh refreshes back to page one and show only 10. It would be nice for the amount being shown to stay the amount selected. In the linked video I was sending out 30+ emails and the page kept refreshing to the first 10.
Thanks.

this is not urget but more like a feature request. i dont know if it would be possible to
do a categories or tags, or a way to organize the custom search from the pixel checker results page here:
https://pixelscout.io/wp-admin/admin.php?page=pix-checker
so basically if i have some tags related to some website for example
abchvac.com
and have the tags hvac, abchvac, project01
i could filter all the websites associated with
– hvac (as a category meaning other websites related to hvac)
– abchvac (perhaps it would only be abchvac weebsite, unless there’s another entry related to that brand or company)
– project01 (other entries that i tagged related to project01)
using tags would make it more easy to filter websites information and be able to export the entries
is that possible?
is not urgent, but i think it would help keep more organized the pixel checker (single search per webiste) – feature, and it would make it also a huge time saver
